FAQs

You asked. We answer.

What is it? Is it a ring?

Nope. Not a ring. Vire Clip is a new type of health tracker that you clip on your underwear.

Is it comfortable?

Vire Clip is designed to be comfortable throughout the day. Once you clip it on, you can forget you’re wearing it.

What if I sleep with no clothes on?

Vire Clip comes with an elastic strap you can wear during the night.

Why is it worn at the waist?

Wearing the Vire Clip at your core allows for unique measurements that other wearables can’t capture. The Vire app then turns that data into clear, simple insights, so you get more clarity, not just more numbers.

Is it waterproof?

Vire Clip is water resistant (IP67). That means you can wear it in the rain but not in the pool.

Why should I get this and not an Apple Watch?

You don’t have to choose. They work well together: a watch for time, notifications and workouts, and the Vire Clip for continuous body temperature and the signals your waist picks up best.

When are you shipping?

The current estimate is Q4 of 2026 (December 2026). Before we ship it, we want to be sure it meets your expectations, so the estimate may change.

Does the app require a subscription?

Nope, not for now. We might add it later, but don’t worry: as an early user, you’ll be grandfathered into a lifetime free subscription.
